Jillian Conrad (born Farmington, New Mexico, USA) received a Bachelor of Science from St. John’s College, New Mexico and an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design, Rhode Island. Recent awards include the Artadia Artist’s Award (New York, NY), Houston Arts Alliance Individual Artist Grant (Houston, TX), and the Kittredge Trust (Boston, MA). She has participated in numerous residencies, including Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (NY, NY) Headlands Center for the Arts (Sausalito, CA), the Core Program at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston (Houston, TX), Triangle International Artist Residency (New York, NY), Lower Eastside Printshop (New York, NY), and the Marie Walsh Sharpe Space Program (New York, NY). Exhibitions include 40 Years of Discvoery: The Gifts of Clint Willour, MFAH, (Houston, TX), Silent h, Central Features, (Albuquerque, NM), Exact Nature, Devin Borden Gallery, (Houston, TX), Sites and Settlements, Behal Fejer Institute, (Prague, Czech Republic).
