February 16, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us on Friday, February 16, from 6–9 p.m. for the opening reception of

Anton Vidokle’s Immortality for All: A Film Trilogy on Russian Cosmism

In Immortality for All: A Film Trilogy on Russian Cosmism, Anton Vidokle explores the influence of Cosmism—a utopian philosophy positing that the ultimate goal of technology must be to overcome mortality and, eventually, to resurrect the dead—on the 20th century and its relevance to the present day

The Future Is Certain; It’s the Past Which Is Unpredictable

The Future Is Certain; It’s the Past Which Is Unpredictable is an exhibition curated by Lithuanian independent curator Monika Lipšic  about the perception of time and history, and about how the past can reassert itself in the present and the future.

Both exhibitions are on view through February 17 to March 24 and from June 1 to August 11, 2018

Gain insights about the exhibitions by attending the FREE, public curatorial talks from 6:30–7 p.m.
Toby Kamps, Director and Chief Curator at Blaffer Art Museum, will discuss Anton Vidokle’s trilogy
Monika Lipšic and Lithuanian artists Robertas Narkus and Goda Palekaitė will speak about the works of view in The Future is Certain…
