Photographer, cinematographer, and conceptual visual artist Brian Ellison will be taking over the Blaffer’s Instagram for 3 days. Brian Ellison is the creative director and cinematographer of the film UnMASKulinity, and the founder of the non profit The Black Man Project. Brian believes there is no limit to self-expression and that art is a universal language that can be the catalyst for healing. A second-year graduate student in the UH School of Art’s Photography and Digital Media program, Ellison’s work will be on view at Blaffer Art Museum May 7–22 as part of the UH School of Art Annual Student Exhibition.
