Description
Inspired by the city and its eclectic art scene, students of the Interdisciplinary Studies course IART 2300: “The Arts in Houston” respond to the city and its art through an exhibition of student writing & artwork. Throughout the spring semester, students visited various museums, performances, cultural sites & met with a variety of Houston-based artists. Through these interactions students developed a creative writing practice to respond & contribute to the city’s ever-broadening artistic identity. This event will showcase their interdisciplinary work through a reading & exhibition of original writing & artwork.
