Tying the Knot: The Tyranny of Trauma is an interdisciplinary performance blending dance, music, film, photography, sculpture, visual art, and psychology. It aims to educate audiences on the stages of grief artistically, combining influences from Taylor Swift, Aaron Copland, and improvised elements.
The performance is a collaboration between Donald Rabin (Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Arts in Leadership), Brittany Kirschner (Bachelor of Arts in Dance) and Felipe Harker (Bachelor of Architecture).
Convergence Research is a collaboration with the Blaffer Art Museum and is curated by Graduate Assistant Ji Won Chun.

About Convergence Research:
Co-presented with the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts and curated by the Mitchell Center graduate assistant, the Blaffer Art Museum hosts evenings of ongoing interdisciplinary research, experimentation, improvisation, and performance.
