Learn about the Convergence Research program for students to explore personal artistic projects or collaboration with other student artists in a variety of locations.
Convergence Research
Convergence Research is administrated and facilitated by the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts to support students and faculty in the McGovern College of the Arts explore connections and collaborate across disciplines. As a platform for experimentation and research, the program provides opportunities to push the boundaries of the artistic disciplines through interdisciplinary inquiry and creative cultivation, welcoming works that are performative, temporary and in any stage of process. This season is curated by Mitchell Center Graduate Assistant Mia Flores and takes place at a variety of venues both on and off the University of Houston campus.
