Location:
Blaffer Art Museum cafe
Format:
Multidisciplinary artist Daniel E. Zamora combines storytelling, sound engineering, projection art and music in Luca of the Dream, for this month’s Convergence Research. Reality blends with the mystical, as Luca, a fox from a spirit realm, weaves tales inspired by love, addiction, time, and joy. Through captivating soundscapes and Daniel’s lived experiences, these stories traverse imagination and introspection, igniting profound insights.
Zamora is a graduate student in the Interdisciplinary Practices and Emerging Forms (IPEF) program in the School of Art. Inspired by the phenomenon of lived experience, storytelling, literature, and even fairy tales, his work’s themes vary from the fantastic and whimsical to the eerie, often depicting potent moments rich with wonder and possibility.
