Experience a vibrant lineup of public programs in the University Arts District, including the Blaffer Art Museum and Folly, a recent permanent architectural installation included in the University’s public art collection
Creative Ground explores the powerful connection between artmaking, wellness, and public expression—inviting you to slow down, reflect, and create. The series welcomes students on campus to connect with their inner artists, recharge through restorative activities, and engage with the university’s creative community.

Join Jaime González, executive director of the UH Institute for Ecological Resilience, for a guided walk exploring the natural surroundings of the University of Houston campus.

Re-imagining the Landscape, Artmaking workshop with Nohelia Vargas Bolivar
Using water-based media, participants will create multimedia works that highlight our connections to our surroundings in unexpected ways.

Wellness at Folly (Next to the Fine Arts Building)
Unwind with a free wellness session at Folly, a recent architectural installation included in the University’s public art collection. This session will highlight ways to nurture body and soul, encouraging participants to explore artistic expression as a pathway to holistic well-being.
