Doug Welsh, curatorial tour a way to mend

Join exhibition curator Doug Welsh for a way to mend and discover the artistic motivations and themes that create synergy between the works on view.  Highlighting the work of ninteen Gulf Coast visual artists and five writers, the exhibition explores the healing capacity of art, for the maker and viewer alike.  Welsh’s talk will illuminate the ways in which artists and writers use their work to mend something deep within themselves or in the world around them.
