Mindful Museum
Mindful Museum in conjunction with the School of Art 48th MFA Thesis Exhibition and Stress-Free Finals (TBD)
Featuring discussion and meditations led by Janet Clemenson, Senior Psychological Counselor, UH Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and an exhibition tour with Katherine Veneman, Curator of Education.
Blaffer Art Museum presents Mindful Museum — a series of intentional reflections and meditations inspired by the museum’s current exhibitions. Each session invites participants to slow down, center themselves, and experience art through a lens of mindfulness and presence. By bringing mindfulness into the museum, we create intentional encounters between art and the self—making room for contemplation, restoration, and belonging. In space, art is not only something to look at, but something to reflect upon.
This program is held in partnership with UH Counseling and Psychological Servies (CAPS) and HR POWER UP Employee Wellness.
