Mindful Museum
Mindful Museum in conjunction with Mud + Corn + Stone + Blue
Featuring discussion and meditations led by Janet Clemenson, Senior Psychological Counselor, after an exhibition tour with Katherine Veneman, Curator of Education.
Blaffer Art Museum presents Mindful Museum — a series of intentional reflections and meditations inspired by the museum’s current exhibitions. Each session invites participants to slow down, center themselves, and experience art through a lens of mindfulness and presence.
By bringing mindfulness into the museum, we create intentional encounters between art and the self — making room for contemplation, restoration, and belonging. In this space, art is not only something to look at, but something to reflect upon.
This collaboration activates the museum as a welcoming and inclusive space — one in which art and well-being meet in powerful, personal ways.
This program is held in partnership with UH Counseling and Psychological Servies (CAPS) and HR POWER UP Employee Wellness.
