On June 7, 2025 we will open our three summer exhibitions, a way to mend, curated by Doug Welsh, ¡Cuidado! X Arriaga Cuellar & Adán Vallecillo and Saif Azzuz-Keet Hegehlpa’ (the water is rising) .
Join us for a full day of opening reception events, readings, activations and performances supported by the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts.

10am-12pm | SEEDSAVING STORYTELLING CIRCLE
Co-facilitated by Erika Mei Chua Holum (Assoc. Curator, Blaffer Art Museum), Christian Toledo, Rea Sampilo, and Trisha Morales (Lualo Studios), Anita Wadhwa (Restorative Houston), and Anakbayan Houston
Join a storytelling circle centering the relationship between the land and our bodies. In recognition of shared histories of displacement and dispossession, this circle welcomes community members to learn and share stories about ancestral homelands, land stewardship practices, interconnected struggles and resistance movements.
